SLC 500 is discontinued. Use the Logix Designer SLC conversion utility.

Steps

  1. Export RSLogix 500 program.
  2. Run the conversion utility.
  3. Re-map data files (N, F, B, T, C) to controller-scope tags.
  4. Wire 5069 I/O or adapt 1746 wiring via 1492-AIFM blocks.
  5. Validate scan time — Logix is event-driven and may need task re-balancing.
